The radio is a powerful little thing. Nearly 96% of the 11.3 million people in Malawi listen to the radio. And, while skipping around the different stations, one of them just might chance upon Trans World Radio Malawi (TWR), a nonprofit missionary radio network with the goal of spreading the Word of God.
It is not enough for those who desire to teach the Word to know the Scriptures; they must also live them. CAPA seeks not only to train pastors to learn to interpret the Word, but also to lead lives worthy of the gospel.
“Greek has helped me to see the Scriptures the way they were given originally, because most of the [other] translations we are using—the English versions, different versions—they are different,” said Patrick Tsiga, a Master of Divinity graduate.
